Identify who would benefit from funding request (age groups, number and demographics of targeted population): The entire Filipino community and Lanai community will benefit by bringing back traditional Filipino traditions and dances. This will inspire kids and adults to dance/be healthy and entertain the way Filipinos love to entertain and dance.

What specific goals are you trying to achieve? : Inspire the Filipino Community to come to life again. The community is about 70% Filipino and we have gotten very complacent. The LFCC was once a very active part of the community and we'd like to be able to give back to the community again. If you ask those of us who grew up here, we can tell you stories of how the LFCC used to do so many things. As kids in school we learned how to dance Filipino dances - that's all been lost as our elders have passed on. We want to bring back tradition to our community.

How will you evaluate success?: There will be an interest in the events held by the LFCC. We would have kids/adults who will want to learn the dance and use it to draw others into the dance whether its for health and wellness, or just to learn and entertain.
